Playing Fast !!

Well this is how i now play fast! Within reason? Myself, Tracy and the kids were invited to a bbq last sunday week, what a great barbie it turned out to be. We were chatting away to a lovely couple, Colin and Judy who will be moving to Broome in a couple of weeks. When they mentioned they were selling some of their belongings, Tracy 'God bless her" asked if he was selling his motorbike? he said yes.... Well as you can see it ended up being a great bbq and i ended up with this little beauty.

There is a catch. Tracy gets to keep a couple of kittens, and i have to build a shelter for them ouitside. Small price to pay i say!!!!! speaking of small price only paid $1500.00 for it with helmet, gloves and gear sack. RIPPER EH!

Big thanks to colin for being so generous.

Rotto !!!!!

Double click this image to see full size! See if you can find the cuttle fish and the stingray?

There are some great swim throughs at Roe Reef.

Graham geared and ready to hunt, probably hoping the sharks around the south west of the island don't pay us a visit! Alistair (Scotty) with a little Port Jackson shark.

Ah yes, bagging a few rock lobster to throw on the BBQ for Dinner. It doesn't get much better than this!

I have to say a big thanks to Graham and Claire for taking me to Rottnest Island today. Look at this beautiful queen snapper, no bait no prolonged fishing trip, just dived down to around 17 meters and stabbed it in the head. You can't do that at coles!

To my uncle Peter in Scotland who fancy's himself as a fisherman, you won't catch fish this big in your waters my friend!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!

We had a relatively quiet new year, still nice though with a few friends and family seeing in the new year with us. There were however some concerns of a couple of patrons who didn't seem to........ Well see for yourselves and try not to judge too harshly.

You can't choose your family but with these two guys its not all bad many a good time with them! For those who may not know this is Scott and Clint Vawser my brother in-laws. In this photo they seem to appear slightly gay but they are happily married with kids and they are sobre, CRAZY!!! But true.

Ken and Glen were unavailable to supervise so we got smashed!! (no we didn't Glen this is just a joke with trick photography.) Thanks to all who attended and hope you have a great 2006!! All the best CHEERS!!

To the wild scotts who may be reading this blog thanks for calling us and saying G'day, great effort by aunt Janice at the accent good onya uncle Peter for wearing the expense of the call or did you use aunt Jessie's phone? Probably!!

I haven't got any recent photos of the wild scotts, but I have some from last year so you can have a look and get acquainted with the other side of the Black family.

Golf !!!

Played golf today with one of my best mates P.P commonly known as Paul Patterson. Met with him this morning to play an outstanding game. We started with a bucket of balls on the driving range due to an hour delay before play. We were cracking a few beauties up the driveway, a couple going astray into the bush "nothing to be worried about"? After some chipping and putting everything was looking grand. Then I teed of well it was all down hill from there 90% of my shots went in the bush if there was water available I'm sure my ball would have found it. Why is golf one of those games where you can be great one day then totally crap the next? Anyway it was good getting out and catching up with me mate Paul, even though I work with him every day.

Had to leave early on the 14th hole Tracy had a hair appointment didn't find out score Paul played on with Lance and Brent. Glad I left early, could have got worse?

Golf a game of persistence!!
Xmas 2005

Christmas was a blast as always it was a big family event. We had great food for lunch with all the in laws, then off to mums for another xmas dinner. We are pretty lucky when it comes to family we all get along very well and we are all pretty relaxed.

Presents were more than abundant this year, the kids got way too much but we do like to spoil them don't we ("Mum & Glen"). We all got a trip to the busselton bungalows for late february thanks to Ken and Glen so that should be a great holiday for all of us, also recieved a cool billabong shirt, jocks "always need jocks!" cleaning stuff ?, and a rock ! yes a wock to throw at the wabbit. No one of those rocks you hide your keys in secret in the front pot plant if you lock yourself out? " ooops not really a secret any more". My Mum and Dad gave us lots of money and some perfume and manly perfume for me or some would know it as aftershave. We gave a little differently to the brother in laws and vice versa, we gave a fair bit of stuff off the TEAR catalogue, you know "Arguably the worlds Most Useful Gift Catalogue. 50 seedlings for reforrestation, fresh water for some village, School supplies and so on, we dont get the gift someone else does from another country great gift alternative for all those people who really
have everything.

Here are the kids with a few of there gifts way too much!!! but nice to see them get all excited for santa coming to see if they will get anything eventhough there always naughty all year round. Well not all the time just feels like that some times.

As you can see a picture speaks a thousnd words.

Santa was a real hit, pretty sure the kids know its poppa but they love it!!!

More presents, too many!!!

Jordi with her new mp3 player oh how things are changing. The technology is certainly advacing at a rapid rate.

Well as you can see it was yet another great christmas had by all. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. :)

Dylan the speed freak!!!!

Here is Dylan and myself earlier this year down at pemberton on a family holiday. Great times as usual. when Dylan was driving he reached speeds up to 80km per hr with me holding on for dear life. The fear factor changes when your 5 year old at the time is in control.
Hi all

Thought I would create this site for all my friends and family to view whenever, wherever they like. I have family in Scotland and sometimes we take too long to talk catch up etc. I am hoping this will help fill the gap between Christmas and birthday catch ups. The main reason I started was also because I saw what a great job my brother in law was doing with his and thought I should do that for the family in Scotland. So thanks Scott for the inspiration.
